The key to life is not to just go to church or be in church but to be in Christ, living a life that is in sync with his word. Jesus said: I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). If you are broke, busted, and disgusted, that’s not abundant life. If you are always home alone, wishing you had this or that, thinking you should’ve and would’ve if you could’ve, that’s not abundant life. Even Jesus took time to meet new people, take a walk, ride in a boat, attend a wedding, go fishing, and visit friends. That’s an abundant life. You may not want to hear this but Jesus never got married so getting married is not the only thing to look forward to in life. You need to have some fun and live life to the fullest. Look forward to something more, something new, something exciting. Do something bigger, better, and different. So stop waiting and procrastinating! Go get your blessing. It’s time to increase your expectations.
