Find yourself. Find that place in God where you can be totally at home in your own skin. Find a liberated place where you can be solely you, unlike anyone else. Take off the mask, stand up straight, stick your chest out, and start walking in the fullness of God. Bear your own cross, develop your own gift, earn your own money, discover your own identity, have your own style, and be your own person. You have things to do, places to go, and people to see. They are looking for the real you, in living color. Live a life that tells them to “imitate me as I imitate Christ.” See 1 Corinthians 11:1. It’s time for you to get a life. It’s time for you to live out loud. Why not just get up right now and go out and celebrate yourself? Go ahead; do it. Go to the salon and get your hair done. Go to the spa and get a massage. Get a manicure and a pedicure. Get dressed up and go to a fancy restaurant. Order something exquisite and be sure to get dessert. Enjoy yourself! How can others enjoy you if you cannot enjoy you? After all, you are the only you there is.
