Jeremiah 1:12 reads: Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform my word.” This is your year! It’s really going to happen for you this year; you just watch and be ready for it. You’ve been waiting for it, planning for it, thinking about it, and praying about it for a long time. But this year, it shall be done! Grab a pen and paper and write a note to yourself. Tell yourself to get your hopes up. Tell yourself this is an exciting time. Tell yourself things are going to be so much better this year. You’ve got new life choices to make and much lifework to do. Think about that desire in the back of your mind, the bottom of your heart, tucked tightly behind a fake resolve. You asked God, but it didn’t happen when you wanted; so now you pretend it doesn’t matter. But, it does. So go back to God and ask again. This time, ask in faith, fully expecting him to do it. This year, it shall be done! Put a checkmark on your list.
