Open Your Heart

Everything we do is based on what’s happening in the heart. The decisions we make and the actions that ensue, are influenced by our heartflow. The heart is a processor; it has to deal with everything that flows into it and then send everything back out. If the inflow is weak and contaminated, the outflow will be weak and contaminated. 2 Corinthians 6:11 reads: …We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. Once you’ve worked through issues that must be put out of your heart, consider what you can allow in it—kindness, meekness, forgiveness, peace, self-worth, compassion, trust, love, etc. Think about the good things, good people, and maybe even a good man (if you’re single) to whom your heart has not been open. In Acts 16:14, the Bible explains that a woman named Lydia worshiped God and the Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. Maybe it’s time to open your heart and let love flow in.
