March for the Children

The children belong to us. It doesn’t matter if we birthed them or not, or if we like them or not. All of them belong to all of us. Their choices, today and tomorrow, affect all of us. Whatever they grow up to be and do will somehow, someday affect all of us. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring, a reward from Him. (Psalm 127:3) They are not just the offspring of their biological parents, but they are the offspring of God, the seed of Abraham—our heavenly Father’s children—and we are all related. As children come into this world, consider each of them a seed. When the seed does not grow and blossom, it’s not the seed’s fault. The planter is responsible. So the way we the planters live and treat others is a model for our children and we will be held accountable to God for how we manage what He has entrusted to us. It really does take a whole village to raise a child. They must stop bullying, fighting, and killing each other. We must stop blaming, condemning, and ostracizing each other. All of the children need all of us—to stand up for them, fight for them, and march for them. Let us come together and do what is right for our youth. This march is for the children.
